Courtney King is a qualified nurse with over six years of experience in the aesthetics industry. She has worked for both general and facial plastic surgeons in all ranges of practice.
During her vast experience, she has assisted surgeons and doctors during medical-grade skincare procedures, chemical peels, laser therapy, dermal fillers, and neuromodulators. She has also served as the head OR nurse in the surgery/operating room.
Courtney holds the degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Ottawa, ON. She started her career in 2010 as a registered nurse at Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Ottawa. Since then, she has continued serving as a registered nurse and cosmetic nurse in various organizations in Ottawa, including Refresh MD, The Ottawa Hospital, Aesthete MD, and Cosmetic Surgery Ottawa.
She was also part of the COVID-19 Case management team as a registered nurse in Public Health, City of Ottawa. Her duties included following legislation guidelines, providing education for positive COVID-19 cases, following up with people identified as high-risk cases, and promoting, protecting, and preventing disease and injury of individuals.
Courtney has also worked as a Field Agent in Ottawa for Tangiers International. Besides that, her experience includes working as a Clinical Instructor at CAMA- Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics, Ottawa, where her major responsibilities include assisting in education for both Basic and Advanced courses in neuromodulators and dermal fillers, complication management, supervising and directing PRP & mesotherapy injection techniques, and providing hands-on teaching for fillers and Botox for new doctors and nurses.
